What do children aged 8-9 say about being online
Two videos are available for viewing for ages 8–9 where children discuss their use of technologies. The videos provide a rich landscape of children’s use of technologies and their reflections on the importance of technologies in their lives.
Children at middle primary levels describe their use of computers and electronic games and the enjoyment they have being entertained and informed by them.
In a third video, primary school educators describe their roles in ensuring that teachers are trained to provide ICT and to teach about cybersafety and how they are implementing whole school cybersafety programs that take into account the needs of this age group.
