Supporting video material ages 5-7

Children are starting to use computers at home and school.
Parents supervise them in their use of computers, the internet and games.
The computer they use is in a public space such as a family room.
Children are allowed to use the computer at home for limited times only.
They enjoy online and-hand held video games, children’s sites on the internet and finding things using a web browser with a parent or older sibling.
Children are unsure about the ‘reality’ of some content online and what is to be trusted.

At school, they are starting to learn about safe use of computers and some simple skills such as creating word-processed documents and searching.
How schools are developing cybersafety policies and are including ICT and cybersafety in their teaching programs in the Lower primary years.
