Units of work
Cybersmart offers a Unit of work about the social and legal consequences of sexting specifically developed for use with senior secondary students.
It is accompanied by a Powerpoint presentation which is designed for flexible delivery to individual classes or larger year groups, including senior assemblies. Follow-up classroom activities are provided for in-depth exploration of the legal and social issues.
Units of work for students in Middle secondary school (ages 14-15) can also be adapted for use with upper secondary school students.

Cybersmart offers a number of engaging online resources to enable senior students to explore cybersafety issues. Many have Teacher resources to guide use and debriefing in the classroom. The resources cover three of the four digital citizen capabilities of Positive online behaviour, Peer and personal safety, e-Security.

Let’s Fight It Together is a video resource designed to help young people, teachers and parents understand and manage cyberbullying and its impact. It has a guide which contains essential preparation and follow-up activities for schools.

Peer and personal safety
The resources in this section are intended to help teens understand the importance of protecting themselves and peers when online. It looks specifically at the risk of cyberstalking and grooming by adults, and the importance of managing personal information and contact from strangers to minimise that risk.

Stalking Sarah is a video resource designed to help teens understand how to help avoid cyberstalking by restricting who sees personal information and how to manage cyberstalking if it occurs. It is supported by a lesson plan and student handout.

The Budd:e e-Security Education Package hosted by the Stay Smart Online website is designed to raise the e-security awareness of Australian children and young people to help them stay smart online. Budd:e offers a learning module for secondary school students.
