This unit aims to help students to:
- increase their understanding of the rights and responsibilities that are part of ethical Internet use
- acknowledge the impact on themselves and others of plagiarism and illegal downloading.

This unit aims to help students to:
- understand what sexting is; and
- understand the key social and legal issues that can arise from sexting
- evaluate potential actions in terms of their possible consequences;
- identify peer pressure in relation to sexting and develop strategies to help peers manage sexting.

Managing online safety
This unit of work aims to help students to:
- increase their understanding of the risks to personal safety when interacting online
- learn how to manage the risks of interacting with others online
- increase their understanding of how to implement the protective behaviours required to interact safely online.
