The Alannah Madeline Foundation - keeping children safe from violence

The Alannah and Madeline Foundation is proud to support Safer Internet Day through its eSmart initiative that helps schools manage cybersafety.

ALIA

The Australian Library and Information Association [ALIA] will be sharing our resources with libraries across the country and creating awareness of the day through their publication INCITE.

Bravehearts. Educate, empower. protect.

Bravehearts will be running a concentrated online education campaign through their social media sites and their e-news. This will involve posting daily (running from 3-10 February) tips and information blogs, as well as links to Safer Internet Day and Cybersmart resources.

Bullying. No way! is promoting Safer Internet Day and the Cybersmart website to parents, students and schools.

Queensland Government

The Department of Education and Training, Queensland supports Safer Internet Day and promotes cybersafety in Queensland state schools.

Cybersafety help. Easy Guide to socializing online

The Easy Guide to Socialising Online supports Safer Internet Day. The Easy Guide has been compiled by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy and provides information on cybersafety features of social media sites for Australian families.

Google

Google is supporting Safer Internet Day through promoting smart, safe and responsible use of technology on the Official Google Australia blog and through advertising Google and YouTube Safety tools.

jajoza

The jajoza Collaboration Centre has been provided free on Safer Internet Day to all schools throughout Australia and is promoting the Cybersmart website.

Libraries ACT

Libraries ACT has four cybersafety seminars taking place (across four days) for Safer Internet Day.

Telstra will be hosting an internal discussion forum talking about internet safety, re-tweeting ACMA tweets, as well as promoting the day on Facebook.

National Children’s and Youth Law Centre

The Director of the National Children’s and Youth Law Centre will be participating as an online guide during the national Cybersmart Hero activity for Safer Internet Day.

Child Wise continues to be an ongoing supporter of the Safer Internet Day - ‘Connecting generations and educating each other’ through schools, libraries and families to learn and connect together as part of the crusade to “Protect Children’s Futures”
