On 6-7 March 2014, Rosalie O’Neale, Senior Advisor with Cybersmart, will be attending an Expert’s Meeting for Fostering Digital Citizenship through Safe and Responsible use of ICT, being organised by UNESCO to take place in Singapore.
The meeting is the first step in UNESCO Bangkok’s new project, which will contribute to expanding learning opportunities through ICTs in education and promoting global citizenship. The meeting will bring together representatives from organisations across the Asia-Pacific region to share experiences, resources and good practice on this subject.
The experts group will consider the initiatives of key players in the region, and work towards the development of a regional guide for teachers.
The ACMA is very pleased to have been invited to be part of this group, and to share its experiences in the development and implementation of its successful Cybersmart program.
